Coating type	Specially formulated flexible baked epoxy.
Coating thickness	.003" - .005" (.075 - .125 mm) nominal.
Coating colour	Standard: green. Other colours available to identify or to manage your conduit system. For example, red to identify your fire and safety systems.
Salt spray resistance	1500 hrs - no visible effect (ASTM B117-85).
Hardness	2H-4H pencil (ASTM D3363-85).
Heat resistance	204°C (400°F) - no change after cooling.
Gloss	60° gloss meter / 90-100 units (ASTM D523-85).
Flame resistance	Self-extinguishing.
Impact	185cm-kg (160 in.-lbs.) - no damage, direct or indirect (ASTM-D2794-84).
Adhesion	Cross Hatch - 100% adhesion (ASTM D3359-87).
Weathering resistance	15600 hours (650 days) - slight colour fading, protection unaffected.
Water immersion	4000 hours at 20°C (68°F) - no visible change (ASTM D870-87).
Bendability	No flaking of coating at -20°C (-4°F).

Coating type	Specially formulated modified epoxy acrylic.

Green-Guard engineering specifications

· Prior to application of the epoxy coating, products meet the following requirements:

Accessories	CSA C22.2#18 or others

· The specially formulated epoxy coating is uniformly applied to the outside surface of the conduit, to the inside/outside surfaces of the accessories, to the inside/outside surfaces of cable trays and to the inside/outside surfaces of support equipment. The nominal coating thickness is 0.005''.

· The specially formulated flexible epoxy acrylic paint is uniformly applied to the inside surface of the conduit. The nominal coating thickness is 0.002''.

· The approved material is Green-Guard™ baked epoxy applied by Columbex. Any changes have to be approved by the specifying authorities.

· All covers are supplied with stainless steel screws.

· The inside and outside coatings do not contain any lead, chrome or chlorinated compounds.
